YOU DO NOT NEET TO KNOW HOW TO POSE!

This is the number one fear women have. You do not need experience. You do not need to know what to do with your hands. You do not need to practice. Guiding you is part of my job. Every movement, every pose, every small adjustment is gently directed so you can relax and focus on simply being present in your body. Most clients are surprised by how natural it begins to feel. We usually start chatting about pets and music and our lives and you forget you’re being photographed and you feel comfortable to just be you, in all your unique glory, and that’s where the magic really happens!

YOU DO NOT NEED TO CHANGE YOUR BODY FIRST

Many women believe they need to lose weight, tone up, or become more confident before booking a boudoir shoot. But confidence does not come first. Confidence comes from allowing yourself to be seen. Boudoir photography is about honoring your body as it exists right now. It’s not waiting for some future version of yourself. You are already worthy of being photographed.

THE EXPERIENCE IS PRIVATE AND SAFE

My boudoir photography studio in Indianapolis is completely private. There is no audience. No pressure. No judgment. Only a calm, supportive environment where you can move at your own pace. Your comfort is always the priority. You are in control of what you wear, how much you reveal, and the energy of your session. I want you to be YOU- not to feel like you have to conform to what someone else thinks you should look like to be “sexy".

IT IS NORMAL TO FEEL NERVOUS AT FIRST

Nervousness is not a sign that you should not do it. It is a sign that you are stepping outside of your comfort zone. Most clients feel nervous in the beginning. Then something shifts. They begin to relax. To trust. To let go of the expectations they carry about how they “should” look. You just feel fully supported. By the end of the session, many feel a sense of empowerment they did not expect.

Many boudoir photographers have secretive pricing and won’t tell you how much you will actually pay for images until after you’ve seen them- I consider that emotional blackmail. You are trusting me so much with your vulnerability, and I feel completely obligated to be upfront and honest with pricing because of that.
